Accuracy with a football is the hallmark of an elite quarterback.
Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Drew Brees. They all exhibit tremendous accuracy on Sunday.
For the 2015 Fantasy Combine, competitors will square off ten yards from the Football Toss Board, which will contain four targets of various sizes.
On cue, competitors will be allowed ten throws of a standard sized NFL football to score as many points as possible.
Points are scored by completely passing the football through any of the targets without crossing the foul line. Should the competitor cross the foul line, the throw will be disqualified. Disqualified throws will not be counted, regardless of whether or not they pass through any of the targets, and will reduce the competitor’s total number of successful throws possible.
Each of the targets has a different point value, based on the target’s size. The largest target will be worth five points. The second largest target (there are two) will be worth eight points. The smallest target will be worth twelve points.
Throws must be performed utilizing conventional form, with one arm, in an over-handed motion. Chest passes, underhand throws, and shovel passes will not be allowed.
After all ten throws have been exhausted, the player’s score will be totaled, based on the number of successful throws through each of the targets.
The winner of the event will be the player that scores the most points, not necessarily the player that had the most successful throws.
Players are encouraged to wear gloves, wrist bands, braces, etc.
